This bill would be applied in federal health care programs so would apply to Medicare, Military and Veteran affairs. This would mean that healthcare provided through Telehealth Services and remote patient monitoring would be covered the same as if the person was give care in person.
This program would remove the current restrictions applied to Federal Health Care programs. This would mean that those that are provided health care through military medical treatment facilities and federal employees would still receive coverage for the care provided in this manner. It would also be possible for a reduction in Medicare hospital re-admissions because health monitoring could be done through telecommunications.
